Manila - Day 1
Colorful Manila rooftops on our decent into the city.
One of the many well-decorated underground passageways to cross the busy intersections.
Crazy bars and neon signs... just like Cabo
Beers on tap at Alamat
Super tender octopus at Rambla
The head chef at Rambla, makin' magic.
Hunter's pisco sour! Actually the best we've ever had.
A midget boxing bar! Yes, this is a thing in manila.
So excited when a nearby bar was selling fresh coconuts! That excitement didn't last too long, as I soon found out this coconut was sour AF. No bueno.
A bar across the street! Guess if you aren't having fun, there's always plan b.
Another trendy looking bar down the road. Makati is full of places like this!
The bar across the street from Chupacabra, which read "possibly the best bar in the world". Well, they sell booze and have darts & pool, so they're alright in my book!
The darts room was in a tiny little smoking room, which had this poster on the ceiling above. Smoking kills, folks!
Outside seating at El Chupacabra, and a photobomb from that weiner on the right.
Little street food carts come rolling by every so often, hoping that the drunchies will get the best of ya. This guy was selling squid balls and sausages.
Another tourist-trap of a bar!
This is a jeepney- the Filipino's public bus, where people wait in huge lines at the jeepney stands to crowd onto these retro-fitted jeeps. They have their destinations on the side, and each one is decorated very differently and vibrantly.
Neon signs which lead to what could possibly be a neighborhood? Hotel? We aren't exactly sure.
Watering the plants!
Hunter had to try the balut from a street cart! I think he cheated, cause he popped the whole thing in his mouth, so he didn't have to see the chicken fetus staring up at you.
